I am in my 26th year of practice as a physical therapist and have always enjoyed the challenges I have faced in the field of Rehabilitation Medicine. However, it wasn’t until about four years ago that my eyes were opened to the opportunities I had to bring glory to God by using the giftings that God has given to me. We are so thankful to have the dedicated group of volunteers from Hands and Feet, which is a part of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, be part of our ministry this year. The group was started by Mary Pulido, and they have been participating in the bi-annual spring and Christmas backpack giveaway since 2005.

It all started with a small Bible study at the 'senior' retirement apartments. It is a close knit group made up of Patti, Velma, Emily, Maryellen, Carolyn, Charlie, Bob, and Rosie and her beautiful black Lab Frontier. They call themselves the Sunshine People, and in June of 2007 they were on a mission to find a cup of cold water, the kind of water that doesn't come from a faucet.
