 Volunteer Spotlight


We would like to introduce everyone to one of our new volunteers who has been making a tremendous difference to the people we see every Thursday night.

Brad Payne is a physical therapist with 26 years experience in this field. He is dedicated to the service of helping others to heal, both physically and spiritually. We see many people who are physically broken down by having to live in a harsh environment without  access to the care they really need. In the month or so that he has been there, Brad has been able to provide relief for a wide range of conditions, along with ministry for the heart.

Who We Are - City Gates Ministries operates effectively in Thurston County
providing support to hundreds of distressed individuals and families.


What We Do - We have a multi-faceted approach that addresses both the
immediate emergency and the individual needs for future stability.

• We provide emergency food, clothing, and other necessities.
• We mentor, encourage and help people learn to be self-determining and accountable.
• We offer our friendship to those with nowhere else to turn, introduce them to new relationships, and provide a shoulder to lean on.
