An Opportunity Just For You!

It is only through the hard work and dedication of our many volunteers that we have been able to serve our community. Our volunteers who find that opportunity to serve in an area that is a good match for their gifts and abilities feel they get back so much more than they give. This year we have many new opportunities and we would love to have your participation!

Food Assistance Delivery: Pick up food from our food coordinators and deliver to the clients receiving food. In addition to delivering food we recommend those delivering to offer prayer and encouragement to the client.
Saturday Van Preparation: We meet every Saturday to sort clothes, and clean and prepare the Street Lights van.

Mentors: We are looking for mature Christians who will be advisors / mentors in the ministry's evaluation process. If you have leadership skills, spiritual discernment, compassion, and wisdom, we would love to discuss mentoring with you. Training will be available for those who can devote once or twice a week.
Resume Writing: If you have your own computer and writing skills we need your help to update resumes and cover letters for clients we are setting up for jobs.
Panera Bread: Pick up bread on Monday night at 9:00 PM at the Hawks Prairie location, and deliver to our storage facility. 
Ministry Teams: Can your team donate one night a month to join us on the street and conduct the ministry for that night? We encourage drama, speaking, music, and intercession. Youth are encouraged to participate, but minors must be accompanied by adult church leaders. 
Attorney: We are looking for an attorney who will donate time as an advisor on non profit issues.
