Many street people have animal companions that are a critically Important part of their lives. The animals are their confidants, protection from danger, and a source of unconditional love that is so hard to find on the street. They are just as vital to a street person as a service dog is to a medically challenged person.
Because of limited resources, the health and well being of these companion animals can be put at great risk. They are at risk not only of an inadequate diet, but also injury due to lack of proper equipment such as improperly fitting collars and harnesses as well as inadequate health care.

If a street person's animal companion needs vet services, members of our team will pay for it.

Leanne's ministry is not confined to just the street.
She goes to retirement homes, nursing homes, and ordinary homes to care for beloved pets whose owners might not otherwise be able to afford vet care for them.

We are very thankful for our partnership with Covenant Creatures.
The first week of September 2007 marks the first year anniversary of their involvement with us, and we look forward to many more!
