Why Support City Gates?
In this life on Earth, none of us know what challenges lie ahead. Sometimes tragic circumstances occur to us. Sometimes we make poor choices and reap the consequences. Often people struggle from day to day just to get by.
Whatever the situation, City Gates pursues putting love into action.
Volunteers reach out to provide assistance with food, clothing, and shelter to meet hardship and emergency situations. Volunteers also seek to encourage those in troubled times through words, deeds, and prayer.
You are welcome to participate!
Donations of time, goods, services, and finances can help strengthen the impact to people in need. City Gates works in partnership with area churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals just like you. Stewardship is important within this non-profit organization to wisely use what is provided in service to others.

Youth Reaching Out To Youth

Early this year God placed a vision in my heart to focus ministry on the youth and young adults who wander the streets of Olympia while struggling with their life issues. I sensed that leadership for this needed to come from our youth who can relate to street youth in a way that parental figures may not.
